An Alliance of TAME, Inc
GCTAME is the Houston-area alliance of TAME (www.tame.org), a non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1976. Currently, TAME has 15 alliances serving the state of Texas.. TAME's mission is to enable Texas students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. TAME's central office is located on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin.
Under the guidance of GCTAME more than 35 Houston-area middle and high schools have participated in state, local and/or corporate link-up activities over recent years, including 2,000 students and 200 volunteers.
